At Monbulk Rangers SC development is high on our list of priorities. We have development programs for committee, coaches, team managers and of course players.

Throughout the years we have successfully hosted various courses aimed at improving the general knowledge level of our coaches and team managers.

2019 saw the FV Games training Course held at MRSC in February, which covers the training of u13-17s.

And the FV Skills Acquisition course in May, this is an essential course for those that train U8-U12s.

We held 2 FV Level 4 Referee courses during 2019.

2020 has another Level 4 Referee course in February, and more coaching courses lined up.

For Junior players we have Goalkeeper training with Senior Player Jayden Allen.

We have the Academy for talented Junior players seeking further challenges to their training routine. Participants nominated by their coaches.

During Summer, and Winter school holidays we run skills clinic for juniors, which are open to all comers. Information on these are posted on our website, and on Facebook closer to the date.

Our Referee Coordinator/President, Theo Kerstans, held an excellent linesperson session last year. To help parents, players, coaches, and team managers better understand the role, and how to execute it. This introduction into running the lines at junior games is held on demand, and the next is TBA.

For the Ladies last year MRSC began “Soccer Mums”, aimed at bringing together women in a non judgemental environment, to have a go at kicking a soccer ball, learning about the game, it’s skills, and terminology, all while having lots of laughs.
